Monsignor Raymond Murray being presented with an original Thomas Clarke poem by our chairman Chris Rafferty.

 

Cardinal O’Fiach Library and archive Hosted a memorable night in honouring the Tyrone 1956 winning Ulster championship team in which our own Iggy Jones was a player. Also on the night our chairman Chris Rafferty Presented to the library on long term loan an original poem which was penned by Thomas Clarke 30 years before his execution, the poem was acquired by the Clarkes club in 2006 through an auction in Adams of Dublin after Club Stalwarts Benny McIntosh and Danny Barr travelled to Dublin to view different Thomas Clarke memorabilia which was on auction and recommended to the committee this memorable poem.
